Cleanse
A gentle cleanse removes oil, makeup, and impurities, prepping the skin for treatment.

Exfoliate
A sterile, fine blade glides across the skin at an angle, lifting away dead cells and fine vellus hair ("peach fuzz"). No chemicals, no downtime.

Nourish
Hydrating serums are applied to the freshly resurfaced skin, absorbing more deeply than before.

Protect
We finish with moisturizer and SPF, since freshly treated skin is more sun-sensitive for a few days.

Does it hurt?
Not at all. The blade only glides above the surface of the skin. Most clients say it feels like a gentle scrape, nothing more.
Will the hair grow back thicker or darker?
No. The fine vellus hair ("peach fuzz") removed during dermaplaning can’t grow back thicker or darker. The hair structure itself doesn’t change.
How often should I come in?
Most clients come in every 3 to 4 weeks, giving skin time to complete its natural renewal cycle before the next session.
Is there any downtime?
None. Skin may look slightly pink right after, but that fades quickly. Just avoid harsh exfoliants for about a week and keep up with daily SPF.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Dermaplaning pairs well with facials and other treatments. Ask about pairing it with your next visit.
How is dermaplaning priced?
Standalone dermaplaning with Mariia starts at $250. When added to another facial with Mariia, dermaplaning is $150. Team pricing will be added when Mirra Bella estheticians become available for online booking.
