What you will study
From fundamentals to confident practice.
The program connects safety, skin knowledge, color theory, tools, mapping, technique, healing, client care, and the practical foundations of building a permanent-makeup practice.
Color and equipment
Organic and inorganic pigments, color selection, machines, needle types and configurations, working depth, and equipment choices for different clients.
Ombré Brows
Consultation, symmetry, ruler, thread and freehand mapping, hand position, skin stretch, pixel technique, latex practice, live demonstrations, and error analysis.
Lip Blush
Lip assessment, shape and color planning, technique demonstrations, supervised practice, healing expectations, and clear aftercare communication.
Client experience
Consultation structure, medical history, consent, preparation and aftercare forms, photography, safe record keeping, and professional communication.
Practice foundations
An introduction to business setup, insurance, zoning and inspections, plus practical guidance for photographing and presenting your work.
How the course works
Prepare online. Practice in person.
Students begin with 14 days of online learning and more than 100 lessons. Four in-person days follow, with mapping, symmetry, technique exercises, and supervised work on live models.
- Online access remains available for three months after certification.
- A student kit is included; the exact contents depend on the selected package.
- Training is available for beginners and practicing artists.
- No cosmetology or esthetics license is required to enroll. Rules for practicing after training depend on the applicable jurisdiction.

Known professionally as Maxileo, Maya is the founder of THE BEAUTY LAB BY MAYA LLC. She has worked in the beauty industry since 2018 and has taught since 2023. Her approach centers on understanding why each step matters and creating natural-looking results for brows and lips.
